Hotel Vall de Núria:

The conference sessions will take place at Hotel Vall de Núria. As it is isolated in the mountain and is only accessible by rack railway or walking, and the train schedule is limited, the only option to attend all the conference events is to stay at the same hotel.

You must reserve the rooms by contacting the hotel directly and indicating that it is to attend the EIEC organized by the UPC.

• Price per person per night in a standard single room is 49,60€, and in a standard double room 34,258€, breakfast included. Superior rooms, suite rooms, and superior rooms with lake views have higher prices.

• You may book the rack railway ticket when making the hotel reservation (two-way fare 27€ from Queralbs or 30€ from Ribes). We encourage this option just in case tickets are sold out in the last moment. The hotel will ask you for the date and time of the trips and the departure station.

• The hotel will provide a Resident Card ("tarjeta de residente") fare that will grant unlimited extra rack railway trips (apart from the arrival and departure trips) and unlimited cable-way trips to Pic de l'Àliga.

Participants will pay a part when making the reservation and the other on arrival. They will be given proof of payment when making the down payment and the complete invoice when making the full payment.

Deadline

The deadline for booking at Hotel Vall de Núria is 30 April 2022. After that date, the rooms lock for EIEC is released and very possibly rooms will be sold out.

Other Options:

Participants may also stay at the nearby village of Queralbs, or the small town Ribes de Fresser. From these locations, access to the conference venue will be limited by the rack train schedule. There is a train up to Núria at 7:30 from Ribes-Vila or 7:46 from Queralbs, that arrives to Núria at 8.03, in time for the sessions.
